Paving

Paving around a pool area is very important and there are a few things that should be kept in mind when designing the area.
1- The paving design should allow adequate space for access and seating to comfortable fit everyone in. You don’t want to have to squeeze past seating to walk around the pool.
2- The paving choice should be as non slip as possible in a wet situation. It is no fun slipping on a hard surface, hurting yourself and not being able to use your pool for several weeks while you recover.
3- Most pavers will need to be sealed. A lot of people miss this step and pay for it in the long run. If pavers are not sealed properly they will stain and this can be very hard to clean off. It will also allow the elements and chemicals to get into the pavers and wear them out prematurely.
These are a few quick tips to help you with the choice of paver for your new pool area. If you have any further questions or just need some advice please don’t hesitate to contact Landscaping Hervey Bay.
